While making my way to the GorgeRail 2013 event I stopped to snap this eastbound rolling through an orchard west of the town of Hood River. Viewed from Ruthton Park overlook looking west.

Great weather with cooler temperatures, and a clear sky as UP 7118 makes its way SB through the center of Palmer Lake.

Looking a bit dirtier on the left side of the cab and plow UP 7118 leads this loaded coal train from the UP (CWEMS 03) south on CN's Y&MV main line as it crosses Mallory Avenue as C70271 08.
